Someone...please sew this woman's legs shut.... http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/1110ap_18_kids.html18 Kids. How in the holy hell can a family that lives in Arkansas financially support 18 kids? I assume she doesn't work, since the kids are home schooled. The cost of living keeps going up, and I think I remember reading previously her husband works in the government. I don't imagine it pays that well. And she wants more? Is she retarded? The world's overpopulated as it is, and this strumpet wants to keep spitting out babies that they're probably getting paid by the state to help support? Ever hear of birth control, lady? Incest Dad To Claim Insanity http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/europe/05/05/austria.incest/index.htmlSorry fritzy....you might have been able to plead insanity if this was something horrible that you did on the spur of the moment ONCE....but to do something like this for a period of almost 2 decades? No judge or jury in it's right mind will fall for that. Mental disorder, maybe. But Insanity? If that's your best defense, you might as well be gettin' ready to go to the chair.... You're just an evil, evil vile excuse for a human being who deserves whatever punishment you get. Current Mood: annoyed | | Friday, March 28th, 2008 | | 8:40 pm |
Clinton Should Bow Out? http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/28/clinton.dropout.calls/index.htmlSee, this is one reason why I don't like Obama. The members of his campaign are arrogant. Last time I checked, Clinton was still in the race, and at least has a decent shot of still getting the nomination if she does well int he next few primaries. And Obama's supported are saying she should bow out? That smacks of arrogance, but I haven't really come to expect much from his campaign....the ONLY reason I would back him is if he gets the nomination, because the alternative is Bush Lite in the White House... I Need A Lawyer..... http://television.aol.com/news/story/_a/woman-suing-over-oprahs-big-give/20080320133909990002I have decided I am going to go an sue someone famous. It doesn't matter who, or whether they're on television or film. The basis of my lawsuit shall be I pitched an idea for a movie, show or series to them or their people 2 years before they began a similar themed show. I shall be rich! Rich, I tell you! RICCHHHH! Then I shall grind to dust beneath my heel all the little people! Yes! Bwahahahahaah....ahem. Sorry....where was I? Oh yes.... Honestly, what did this woman expect to happen when she filed the suit? Unless she has explicit proof showing she met with the executives and the agenda discussed, she's pretty much just shooting blanks. I'm guessing her appeal will stand up as well as her original case.... Current Mood: amused | | Thursday, March 13th, 2008 | | 4:43 pm |

What's The Big Deal? So this morning, it seems that news has surfaced that one of the American Idol contestants has a past as a stripper he didn't come forward with, and another has had racy pics of her surface. My response to this is: So what? America watches this show to be entertained; if their performance is entertianing and America votes them to stay on, who is Fox to tell us who is a suitable Idol or who is not based on their outside life? I hardly think that they're (the viewing public) expecting the contestants to be perfect little angels with no skeletons in their closets. As long as what they are doing or have done is not illegal, who are we or anyone else (RE: Perez Hilton) to bust their chops for it? If the people watching the show are hypocritical enough to DEMAND that the people they watch be free from ANY possible defects or flaws, they need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror. If the people truly have talent, why is what they do in their personal lives that doesn't affect their performance relevant AT ALL? If Hernandez and Malubay get booted off because of these incidents, perhaps Fox should consider changing the name of the show from American Idol to American Purists..... Why Is This News?!? http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/352677_obamaphoto26.htmlI heard about this the other day, and don't see what the big deal is. It sounds like Drudge, a journalist wannabe, is trying to stir up a dustup for Hillary. You can't drop a potential bombshell like he did by saying "Oh, this is being done by a Clinton staffer" and cite and e-mail as your evidence WITHOUT providing any proof. This smacks to me like he's trying to make Hillary look bad. If he can't present ANY hard proof of this, he needs to issue a retraction; however, he won't because he has nothing to lose by posting unsubstantiated tripe on his blog. He's the lowest kind of "journalist", along the lines of Anne Coulter by making explosive statements to garner attention without anything substantial behind what they say. Obama seems to be making this a bigger deal than it is, and is also jumping the gun about it being Clinton's fault. So much for innocent until proven guilty in his eyes, I guess.... Yes! I read today that Anne Rice will, after previously stating that she was done with vampire novels, write another novel with Lestat and likely his supporting cast. She did say it will have religious undertones, which is no surprise given that many of the previous Vampire Chronicle books have dealt with religion, but I don't care. This is great news with the way things were left hanging at the end of Blood Canticle; though I do wish she'd do a novel filling in what happened between the end of Merrick and the start of Blackwood Farm. GAH! So we have a urinal in our office bathroom that isn't working properly. When it's flushed, it keeps running. A repair person hasn't been able to get in to look at it yet, so there's a sign there that is obvious and can not be missed warning people that it's out of order. So what does some genius do today? They flush the bloody thing. Urgh. If I'd been in there, I'd have smacked them in the back of the head for being so stupid..... Yeah, its's a small annoyance in the scheme of things....but even so.... Current Mood: irritated | | Monday, February 11th, 2008 | | 2:54 pm |

Play It Again, Obama http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080130/ap_on_el_pr/obama_clintonI posted last week about Obama abandoning a pledge that he and Hillary made to campaign without personal attacks on the other; guess who's at it again? Honestly, if he can't keep to a pledge he made to play nice, how could we trust him to keep his word if he's elected? Current Mood: annoyed | | 12:54 pm |
For Crying Out Loud.... http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/Is it not enough that Nader's participation in the 2000 election very possibly allowed Bush to get elected? Why can't this man realize that he doesn't have a snowball's shot in hell of winning and sit one election out? "Political bigotry will be the label on anybody who uses the word 'spoiler,' he said. "Because ‘spoiler’ means minor candidates are second class citizens. Either we have an equal right to run for election, or we are spoilers for each other trying to get each other's votes.” Well guess what, Nader? You likely spoiled the election in 2000 which is why we friggin' have Bush in the White House right now! You ARE a second class citizen in terms of electability. You certainly have every right to run, but just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD. You have NO chance. GAH! Current Mood: annoyed | | Friday, January 25th, 2008 | | 2:54 pm |
Words Fail Me.... http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/1120ap_spain_mourners_sued.html?source=mypiThis sounds like a tragic situation, given that it might have been preventable if the cyclist had been wearing the proper gear. However, it seems like the driver would be COMPLETELY at fault for going nearly 2x the speed limit. However, even if the cyclist HAD been wearing proper safety gear, I don't see how the drive could have stopped in time since he was going so fast. In the US, I believe going that fast would result in your going automatically to jail, never mind if you killed someone going that fast. Guess the Spanish justice system is different in that regard. And then he has the AUDACITY to sue the parents of the boy he killed for damages to his car? Talk about slime. Bad enough he killed their son, but now he's reopening the wounds by suing them? Seriously, some people are a major waste of space on this Earth, and this guy is one of them. | | Friday, January 18th, 2008 | | 4:18 pm |
Not Very Impressive, Mr Senator http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/Re: The article about Obama's "Comedy Act"; didn't he JUST promise along with Hillary to run a more civil campaign that didn't include personal attacks on the other? That lasted all of less than a week..... Whether he was attempting to be funny or not, doesn't exactly sit well with his force for change blather he's spouting off if he's back to politics as usual after doing something because it made a good sound bite.... Border Fence Fiasco http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/01/17/border.fence/index.htmlI think people like Elosia Tamez are absolutely in the right on this matter. The fence idea is stupid. If people are willing to swim across the Rio Grande, then a fence will merely slow them down, but will not stop them. People will find a way around, over or under it if they are determined enough to do so. Without sufficient Border Patrol guards to react to any alarm set off when a sensor is triggered, this fence is just a waste of money because by the time they arrived, any one that triggered it in the first place would be long gone. Enforcement of current immigration laws for employers would do far more to stem the flow of illegal immigrants than this fence will; but that won't happen because Bush doesn't want to upset the status quo or big businesses that rely on cheap labor that contribute heavily to the Republican Party. With the US economy teetering on the brink of a recession, THIS is the best thing the Bush Administration can find to spend money on? Honey....Have You Seen The Children? http://www.parentdish.com/2008/01/09/two-year-old-left-at-chuckie-cheese-family-doesnt-notice-for-2/2 Days?!? They didn't notice their two year old was missing for 2 DAYS?!? My mother freaked out if she couldn't find my sister or I in like....5 minutes. She still gets panicky if she doesn't talk to me now every few days or if she tries to call and I don't answer or call back within a day. How in the world can you NOT notice your child is missing for 48 hours?!? |
